Exploring the concept of exploration

After looking into the concept of exploration and what can be perceived as a representative of this idea. I decided that the best design for this would be a paper air plane. I think that these show how something simple like a piece of paper can be used to create and become something completely different. The construction of the paper plane is what relates it to the concept of exploration and development. Therefore the posters show the stages of how these progress from the original stage to the final piece. I then pushed this design further to experiment with how else this could be portrayed and how these could be positioned to portray the same concept of exploration but in a different light. The different angles of the plane and the lines after it represent the idea of movement.

The simplicity of these designs and contrast between line thickness and sharp/curvy lines I believe makes the design really effective and work well. These would be great pin badges and promote the concept of exploration.
