After originally exploring the human structure in my previous post I wanted to experiment with mixed media and how an illustrated design could be combined with real textures and images.
I believe that the design works well and is an interesting combination of styles. It adds further depth and life to an otherwise two dimensional design.
The mixture of colour brushes also adds an interesting effect to the design and is clear to see how the use of different brush types, transparency and thickness can be adapted to replicate things such as shadowing, movement and water fluidity.
Further development of this would be to explore the concept of the Deep "She" Divers collections and how these can be created as a series of designs potentially as a collectable pin series. To explore this it would be a good idea to receive samples from various companies to see things such as quality, colours and sizing.
